My work attempts to question our relationship to architectural space, and the everyday objects found and utilised within those spaces. I look for different potential interpretations of a given space, or object, and then begin to construct new prospective narratives, alongside these interpretations, where space and object interact and overlap, as both these elements by condition are inter dependent.
It is my intention as a contemporary artist, to force a reassessment of the everyday. It is my intention to highlight overlooked aspects of the everyday, in order to isolate and represent aspects of the urban environment, with the aim of forging a visual poetry of the commonplace, to elevate the irrelevance of the ordinary.
